The end of 2017...

Pagina 2 van Crab Apple is bijna klaar, mijn doel is om deze pagina nog af te krijgen voor dit jaar. Of me dat gaat lukken weet ik niet maar ik kan maar proberen.

Page 2 of Crab Apple is almost finished, my goal for this year is to finish this page. If I will be able to? I'm not sure, but I can only try.

Doelen zetten voor 2018?

Ik weet het niet, meestal lukken mijn doelen toch niet. Ik zou zeggen een pagina per maand van een Haed en Witching en Crab Apple zo af te krijgen maar dan nog zullen ze niet af zijn in 2018. Zelfs als ik blijf ik de hele tijd doorwerken aan 1 van de 2 en breng ze niet in rotatie dan nog zal het moeilijk worden. Pagina 26 van 42 en 2 van 18... aan een (hopelijk) gemiddelde van 1 pagina per maand.

Goals for 2018?

I'm not pretty sure, my goals don't work out most of the time. I would say a page per month from a Haed and trying to rotate Witching and Crab Apple like this, but even then they won't be finished in 2018. Even if I only pick one of the 2 and don't rotate them it will be hard. Page 26 out of 42 and page 2 out of 18... hopefully on an average of 1 page a month.

De 2 challenges van deze maand bij "The ultimate cross stitch group" waren een adventskalender en "every member counts" met deze maand 3595 steken. Beiden zijn mij goed gelukt en dus heb ik de badges ook mogen ontvangen.

Ik had mezelf beloofd om geen patronen meer te kopen of materiaal voor ik wat af had, tenzij het nodig was voor een project maar deze weken kwamen er een aantal nieuwe Lisa Parkers uit. En samen met die een sale van 50 procent. En natuurlijk kon het ik niet laten... Dus ik moet dringend verder borduren zodat ik deze ooit ook kan maken. Ik heb nu 2 haeds in rotatie en ben niet van plan om een derde op te starten voor er eentje af is.

I promised myself not to buy any patterns or stash before I finished something unless it was needed for a project I'm working on but some new Lisa Parkers came out this week. And they also had a 50 percent sale. And I just couldn't help myself... So I have to stitch more so I can eventually stitch these. I have 2 haeds in rotation and I'm not planning to start a 3th before I finish one of them.

Thou shalt not stitch...

Een maand geleden al weer. De opleiding is druk en vind niet zo heel veel tijd om te borduren. De bingo is goed gelukt maar ik ben jammer genoeg de foto's kwijt gespeeld. Maar ik heb wel een pagina af van Witching Hour en ben bezig aan de tweede pagina van Crab Apple.

It's a month since I last blogged. The school is busy and I don't have much time to stitch. The bingo went well, but I lost the photo's.  I did finish a page of Witching Hour and I'm working on page 2 of Crab Apple.

Maar het is ook niet makkelijk om te borduren met 4 katten monsters. Toch 2 ervan. Eergisteren had Tiger mijn bobbins vast en gisteren had Storm mijn schaar en garen gepikt.

But it's also not easy to stitch with 4 cat monsters. At least 2 of them. The day before yesterday Tiger stole my bobbins and yesterday it was Storms turn to steal my scissors and thread.

En nu ga ik een beetje verder borduren zodat hopelijk ik mijn doel van deze week haal.

And now I'm going to stitch a bit so I hopefully get my goal from this week.
